The 3AF International Conference on Applied Aerodynamics is organized each year by the French Aeronautics and Space Society (3AF) in a different venue in France known for its activities in the field of aeronautics and/or space technology. The conference is an opportunity for scientific exchanges among the aerospace community where aerodynamicists from industry, research institutions and academics meet. Weather for Private Pilot's License holders

Civil Avionics International Forum 2016 (CAIF 2016)

Civil Aerospace Congress 2016

This annual event, organised by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, hosted by Galleon (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd., will discuss international cooperation in relation to civil aircraft projects, the question of the establishment of supplier system, aircraft airworthiness certification systems, intelligent manufacturing pilot project, the aviation industry and information technology as well as future trends more electric aircraft and other aspects, to promote the technology among enterprises exchanges and cooperation projects. China Aerospace Propulsion Technology Summit 2016 (CAPTS 2016)

According to the forecasts, in the next two decades the China civil aircraft market will need at least 6330 new aircraft, worth USD 950 billion. The scale of expansion of civil aviation will encourage the growth of aero engine related requirements. In the next 10 years, China civil aero engine sales demand is expected to reach more than RMB480 billion and the demand for corresponding maintenance and replace parts service will reach more than RMB320 billion. Over the next two decades, demand for China aero engine and gas turbine will exceed RMB2 trillion, civilian market will be RMB1.5 trillion. Engine parts, assembly and high temperature alloy materials will boom.
This annual event (CAPTS 2016) will cover the latest industry insights, bringing the maximum value to its delegates.
Will Air Transport be Fully Automatised by 2050?

This conference will continue work begun in three previous conferences organised by AAE, on the themes of “Aircraft and ATM Automation” in 2005, “Air transport pilots faced with the unexpected” in 2011 and “Flying in 2050” in 2012. Help us curate a vibrant programme of events! There are no restrictions on the call for proposals; anyone can propose an event – individuals, researchers, organisations or academic institutions from all over the UK. Events can be talks, debates or discussions for a public audience.

30th Congress of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences

ICAS is an international, non-government, non-profit scientific organization with the mission to advance knowledge and facilitate collaboration in aeronautics. ICAS is the only international support organization to representative aeronautical engineering professional societies and their members in 30 countries. ICAS organizes every two years an International Congress covering all aspects of aeronautical science and technology and their application to both military and civil aviation.

6th EASN Conference
18-21 October 2016, Porto, Portugal
In 2016, for the first time, the European Aeronautics Science Network will convene In Portugal. The 6th International Conference of EASN will be co-organised with the Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (INEGI) of the University of Porto (FEUP).
The 6th EASN International Conference is set to be the larger, broader and most comprehensive gathering of the Association. It is designed to be the year’s leading forum for discussion and exchange of information about state-of-the-art research and development activities in Aeronautics and Air Transport.
The conference will include Plenary Sessions by renowned speakers and Open Discussions with distinguished researchers from the industry and academia.
It will also include Thematic Sessions housing the majority of current European aeronautics research programs and Technical Workshops where evolving ideas, technologies, products, services and processes will be discussed. Until now, among others the following Thematic Workshops have been confirmed: Workshop on N.D.T., Workshop on Surface Phenomena, Workshop on Aircraft Design / Flight, Workshop on SHM Maintenance, Workshop on Propulsion & Engines, Workshop on Aerostructures. In this respect, the Conference is expected to foster the cooperation and interaction between its participants on a multidisciplinary basis serving as a meeting for exchanging novel and innovative ideas for future research.
The 2016 EASN Conference will be a flagship event in dissemination of aeronautics research activities and our goal is to share high quality, current achievements and new upstream research ideas. The Call for Papers is out now.
