The Royal Aeronautical Society's annual careers awareness and information event, the Ballantyne, is aimed at 14-18 year-olds and is open to youth groups, school groups and individual guests and has become an important fixture in the aerospace calendar, providing inspirational careers information and advice and a chance to hear from early careers and experienced professionals about career opportunities and pathways in aerospace and aviation including:

Sponsored by Raytheon UK, our 2016 event will celebrate the Society's 150th anniversary and the fantastic achievements of the past, current opportunities and future innovation through a varied programme which recreates the past as well as include speakers from today's aerospace industry
There will also be interactive workshops as well as FREE pilot aptitude tests from The Honourable Company of Air Pilots and an 'Ask the Expert' Q&A session.
Lunch is provided free of charge and there is no attendance fee for this event. However all bookings must be made in advance via the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Careers and Education department.
Individual and group bookings from schools, colleges, youth groups are welcomed. Please note that individual guests under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
