A talk to the RAeS Chester Branch on the Beluga XL. The first aircraft is being assembled at Toulouse, with the first flight expected next year, and entry into service in 2019. Initially, five Beluga XLs will operate alongside the current Belugas STs, providing much of Airbus’s logistical requirement.
