CFD and MDO - State of the Art and the Future

16 October 2017 - 17 October 2017

No. 4 Hamilton Place, London

Strategy, Application and Verification in the use of CFD, MDO & Future Aerodynamic Requirements

Day 1 13:00 - 17:00
Day 2 09:00 - 18:00

Conference Highlight

This two-day meeting with invited speakers will discuss the current state-of-the art in CFD and MDO capabilities and how these could and should evolve and develop to meet the demands and requirements of future programmes.

Such programmes could involve the application of CFD and MDO data and processes to the engineering of aircraft, UAVs, helicopters, automobiles, weapons, space vehicles, land vehicles, maritime vessels etc…

Why Should You Attend?

- Explore the requirements for low speed, transonic and high speed flow regimes with the use of CFD and MDO and linking the aerodynamics discipline to the other engineering aspects of design.

-Appraise how CFD and MDO data and processes are currently used

- Assess how this may evolve to facilitate the efficient and effective design, manufacture and operation of vehicles.

- Networking with professionals within the aerodynamic and related disciplines and communities.
