Joined RNZAF in 1986 and did 9 years as Avionics before getting commissioned from SGT to Engineer and completed another 13 years before leaving after 22 years. Of particular interest to presentation tonight, I was the Engineer (and Log) rep on the P-3K2 upgrade from inception through to Critical Design Review - a period of 4+ years between Wellington and the US. After leaving RNZAF, I managed a consulting engineering company for 4 years, and then went sharebroking for 4 years before returning to Aviation as the Team Leader Avionics/ Airworthiness Engineer within the Aircraft Certification Unit of CAA. I had just taken over the Maintenance Team before I headed back to Defence as the Integrated Project Team Leader for the Future Air Mobility Capability project.
