Dave Greenberg, ex Life Flight and ex Westpac Rescue crewman grew up in New York City and knew he wanted to be a fireman from the age of 8. However, his parents wanted him to be successful, so he ended up with an IT career, but was a volunteer fire-fighter / paramedic in New York and then Dallas, Texas. Dave came to Wellington for a one year IT contract in 1990 and never left.

Dave Greenberg, ex Life Flight and ex Westpac Rescue crewman grew up in New York City and knew he wanted to be a fireman from the age of 8. However, his parents wanted him to be successful, so he ended up with an IT career, but was a volunteer fire-fighter / paramedic in New York and then Dallas, Texas. Dave came to Wellington for a one year IT contract in 1990 and never left.

Dave became a volunteer on the Westpac Rescue Helicopter in 1991, and this became a full time job in 1995. He flew his final mission aboard the Westpac Rescue Helicopter in May 2016, after 25 years and nearly 4000 missions. Today Dave is a student, an Emergency Management consultant, and is currently writing a book called "We All Bleed the Same"
