In the third and last lecture of 2016, Captain Adam Williams, from the Royal Dubai Air Wing will deliver a presentation on The Gilder Pilot Regiment and, more specifically, details of Operation Deadstick – a plan to land six large gliders at night, next to two vital bridges in Normandy at the start of the infamous D Day Landings of June 1944.
