Our speaker, Mark Trotter, will be talking about his experiences in helicopter filming whilst based in the UAE and will attempt to provide an insight into what goes into this type of work. Over the last 8 years Mark has conducted helicopter filming for airshows, short films, TV adverts and most recently the Red Bull Air Race.

This event forms a part of the RAeS UAE Professional Development Program 2017-18.

Admission is free and open to all those who are interested in the topic, no pre-registration is required.

Mark Trotter, Aerogulf Services

Mark’s aviation career started in the Royal New Zealand Navy in 1991 where he served for 14 years as a helicopter pilot. After leaving the Navy and moving to the Middle East in 2004 he has flown in a variety of roles including Oil & Gas, Search and Rescue, Corporate, Utility and Filming.


He is currently a pilot and Business Development Manager for Aerogulf Services in Dubai and Founding Partner of Unified Aviation – a specialist aviation consultancy.


He is passionate about all aspects of aviation and has been lucky enough to be able to experience a variety of helicopter roles.
