28 April 2016

Royal Aeronautical Society

With the proliferation of drones sold to consumers, and commercial operators entering the market, the number of AirProx reports and news stories of dangerous flying drones are being reported are going up.

Governments and National Aviation Authorities are coming under increasing pressure to be seen to be dealing with the situation, and a couple have implemented Registration and Identification schemes to help manage the situation.

The aim of this UAS Group workshop is to bring those who are looking at developing solutions together with those looking for the solutions (DFT) to move the implementation of a practical solution nearer.
