The Sitec Challenge

Lecture

The Sitec Challenge is the 1st Annual Young Person’s Lecture Competition hosted by the Bristol Branch. 

The annual competition is open to anyone under 30 studying for a recognised undergraduate degree in the UK. Candidates who enter The Sitec Challenge are eligible for entry for the RAeS’s prestigious NE Rowe medal.

The event is topical, with a new theme each year to reflect the ever-changing and multi-faceted landscape of the aerospace industry. The theme for the 2016 competition is:

Advanced Recyclable Materials, Greener Manufacturing and the place of these technologies in the future of our industry

 

At this stage there are two deadlines that entrants should be aware of:

Submission of the application with a small abstract
29th July 2016

Candidates that are successful at this stage will be notified and be required to submit their presentation that will be given at the final.

Submission of the presentation
13th October 2016

The final presentation will take place on 20th October 2016 at BAWA, Bristol.
