15 September 2016

Bank of Cyprus HQ at Ayia Paraskevi near the Hilton Hotel

Lecture

Martin’s talk starts 40 years in the future and challenges the audience to imagine a world without pilots as we know them today. The talk then moves back to the present day, highlighting just how much Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) developments are subject to mistrust, misinformation and even scare stories. Martin breaks down the UAS world into its various sectors, describes the current commercial, technical, societal and regulatory challenges and speculates on how the near term future will see the use of unmanned systems progress.

HE the British High Commissioner Mr. Matthew Kidd is kindly supporting the event and will give a welcome address.
