Nick Miller, Key Account Manager for ISTAR and UAV Systems, Thales UK

Nick Miller graduated from Liverpool University with a B Eng honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and joined Racal Electronics as a Graduate Engineer. His early career was spent as an Electronics Warfare specialist, before in 1995 switching to broader management roles including Export Finance and Commercial Manager. He spent 3 years in the USA, as the Company’s Supply Chain Programme Manager, before returning to the UK and becoming ISTAR Programme Manager. Transition to the Thales Group saw his introduction into Unmanned Air Systems as Industrial Strategy Manager and Business Development Manager. As part of a government initiative for Airspace access for unmanned systems Nick was vice chairman of the ASTRAEA consortium. In his current role he has responsibility for the Key account of the ISTAR and UAV Systems portfolio for Thales UK.
