The Brussels Branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society was formed in 2004 and registered as a not-for-profit asbl in 2005. The Branch has the fortunate distinction of not only being close to all aspects of Belgian aviation, including industry, air traffic services and airports, but also to the European political and regulatory centre. Being at the centre of European political and regulatory institutions and activities the Branch is able to organise multi-speaker events on particular aviation topics. The Branch has found the best value is obtained by structuring such events as short presentations followed by open discussion between speakers and the audience.
