Re-Join the Royal Aeronautical Society

It is possible to reinstate a lapsed or expired RAeS membership. If your RAeS membership has been lapsed or expired for less than three years, please complete the reinstatement form and email the completed form to membership@aerosociety.com and someone in membership will be able to reinstate your membership for you. All memberships run on the calendar year and subscription fees are pro-rated and based on the current quarter. 

Please be advised that a £52 reinstatement administration fee is due at the time of reinstating your RAeS membership.

If your membership has been lapsed or expired for more than three years, please send a current CV to membership@aerosociety.com and a staff member will verify that you have remained working in the aerospace or aviation industry and will be able to assist you with reinstating your membership.

The Engineering Council requires that all professional registration memberships, including Eng Tech, IEng or CEng be reinstated within three years of having either lapsed or being resigned. For Engineering Council registration reinstatement's, please complete the following form and return it to the membership department. Please be advised that if your RAeS membership is currently lapsed or expired, your RAeS membership will need to be reinstated concurrently with your Engineering Council membership.

In order to reinstate a professional registration membership, the Engineering Council requires that all back fees for the time that the professional registration was lapsed or expired to be paid for and brought up to date.
