Professional Recognition

Take advantage of these opportunities to gain recognition within the aerospace and aviation industry:

1. Use your RAeS Post-nominal letters

Each grade of membership is designed to demonstrate a members experience, skill and academics in industry. We therefore provide a different post-nominal at each grade of membership meaning recognition that you are part of our influential institution and that you have met a minimum experience requirement.

2. Upgrade for recognition of experience and skill

It's simple, as you gain more experience or academic success we want to recognise this by supporting you to upgrade your membership!

3. Honours, Medal and Awards

The Society awards Honours, Medals and Specialist Awards to both individuals and teams. The Specialist Awards are intended to cover the full range of aerospace disciplines. Find out more here.

4. Professional Registration

If you are an Engineer working in the Aerospace industry then you can gain Professional Registration through us, a professional qualification demonstrating your knowledge, skill and competence as an Engineer.
