EUR ING & IntPE Registration

UK registrants can also apply for registration as a European Engineer (EUR ING) or an International Professional Engineer (IntPE).  For more information on how to apply click EUR ING and IntPE guidance.

European Engineer (EUR ING)

As a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and one of our members you could be eligible to apply for this qualification to extend recognition of your achievements:

  • To apply to become a Eur Ing and FEANI registrant, you will need to be either a Member (MRAeS) or Fellow (FRAeS) and a Chartered Engineer (CEng)
  • The latest application forms are available from the FEANI website
  • Guidance notes can be found on the International pages of the Engineering Council website

FEANI EMC application submission deadlines:

  • 24 August 2018
  • 12 November 2018

FEANI EMC meeting dates: 

  • 18 & 19 September 2018
  • 6 & 7 December 2018

Successful EUR ING registrants will be notified by the Engineering Council approximately 7-10 weeks after the meeting date. 

International Professional Engineer (IntPE)

The International Register of Professional Engineers is open to CEng members who have at least two years' post-graduate experience, have spent at least seven years in responsible charge of significant engineering works and can maintain relevant CPD at a satisfactory level.

The application forms and guidance notes are available from the Engineering Council website.

IntPE application submission deadline:

  • 26 September 2018

IntPE meeting date:

  • 17 October 2018

Successful IntPE registrants will be notified by the Engineering Council within approximately 2 weeks of the meeting date.
