Two pilots have reportedly been suspended and an investigation underway after an Air India A320 flew nearly two hours with its undercarriage down, forcing to divert due to low fuel caused by excessive drag.

The incident, which happened on the 22 July saw the A320 take off from Kolkata bound for Mumbai. However with wheels down it was unbale to reach its normal cruising altitude and had to divert to Nagpur due to low fuel.
