The RAeS will be attending and supporting the Cranfield University Alumni Event and Defence Education Conference in June. At the event you will be able to visit the RAeS stand to talk to us about membership and professional registration and we will be giving an overview briefing on both topics.
This event is organised by Cranfield Defence and Security and is aimed at defence and security professionals in the South East Mediterranean who are affiliated with Cranfield University. As well as networking, the attendants will have the opportunity to listen to a series of talks by senior and experienced professionals on a vast range of defence topics.
The event will be held at the Athens War Museum on 1 June, 2017 and will be open to the general public, upon registration. The conference will include a buffet lunch and dinner. This event is aimed at scientists, engineers and managers, with the goal of enhancing knowledge and understanding, across the domain of defence engineering and management.
Key aspects of the event will include:
• electronic warfare
• air power
• logistics and defence acquisition
• airworthiness and gas turbines
• guided weapons
• flight testing and trials
• cyber defence and information management
• defence simulation and big data
