The CE of Dassault, Éric Trappier, has said its partnership with BAE Systems to develop a new UCAV will not be affected by a French and Germany pact to jointly develop a next-generation fighter.

Trappier said that it might be possible for Britain to join to join France and Germany to develop a successor to the Eurofighter Typhoon and Dassault Rafale, despite fears that Brexit could isolate the UK from future European defence programmes.
