Russian authorities have recovered wreckage, including one of the flight recorders, from the Tupolev Tu-154B which crashed in the Black Sea on 25 December.

The Russian military Tu-154, which was carrying 150kg of cargo, went down shortly after leaving Sochi on a flight from Chkalovsky near Moscow to Latakia in Syria. According to reports, the aircraft switched a refuelling stop from Mozdok to Sochi due to bad weather. The Russian federal security service, FSB, says that it has found no evidence of sabotage.
