US-based Hawaiian Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo, which was delivered to it from Airbus’ US factory in Mobile, Alabama.

The airline is preparing to induct 18 A321neos into service, flying daily non-stop flights from Honolulu to Portland and Long Beach, with other new routes being planned. It is expected that all A321neos will be delivered to Hawaiian Airlines by 2020.
