Clive Bevan is Treasurer for ARPAS-UK. He will consider 'Within Line of Sight' applications and current RPAS activity.

Joe Barnard is Managing Director of Barnard Microsystems Ltd. He will examine applications and current applications in the 'Beyond Line of Sight' field and commercial applications for RPAS technology.

About the speakers:

Dr Joseph Barnard, Director, Barnard Microsystems & Clive Beven, Treasurer, ARPAS-UK

Joseph Barnard has a Ph.D. degree in electrophysics from Cornell University in the USA. After setting up a compound semiconductor device group at The GEC Hirst Research Centre in North London, he set up BML, initially to develop technical software. In 2004 BML started work on the development of unmanned aircraft systems, including fixed and rotary wing aircraft, together with sensor and communication units.

Clive has spent 25 years in investment banking, mostly in project management and business development for Swiss and Dutch Banks. Since 2008, when RBS took over ABN Amro, he has found myself at RBS, running the Libor & FX investigations.
