In recognition of this year’s centenary of WWI, the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors are joining together for a Service of Remembrance. The service will mark the contributions of both engineers and surveyors to major conflicts, and commemorate lives lost in war by members of our professions.
The organisers welcome members, family members, and staff for the joint service, to be followed by an informal reception at One Great George Street, the home of the Institution of Civil Engineers and would like to extend our invitation to the staff and members of the RAeS to join them at this event.
The service will be held at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, on Friday 7 November. Starting at 1:00pm, followed by a 60 minute drinks reception at ICE.
ICE are operating an online booking system this year, and more information and registration details can be found at: ice.org.uk/remembrance14
