Amazon Drone Delivery Trial and Public Attitudes to Drones
Society Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Simon Whalley, appeared on a number of news outlets to discuss and provide expert view on the announcement on 26 July that Amazon will be working with the Government and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to trial beyond-line-of-sight drone operations for parcel delivery. Appearances included BBC Radio Leicester and Talk Radio, as well as participating in a live Facebook chat with BBC Transport Correspondent Richard Westcott:
