On 8 December the 100th Royal Aeronautical Society Wilbur and Orville Wright Lecture was given by Captain Suzanna Darcy-Hennemann – Chief Pilot and Director of Flight Training, Boeing. The former chief test pilot on the 777 programme, in 2005 Captain Darcy-Hennemann was the captain for the record-breaking 777-200LR flight from Hong Kong to London - the long way around. We caught up with Captain Darcy-Hennemann to ask about the challenges of meeting the immense demand for new pilots, her day-to-day job, and what she'd like to see in the next evolution of the 777 airliner. http://youtu.be/vmDoWXdAmmk
