NASA Chief Scientist, Dr Ellen Stofan at the Royal Aeronautical Society, 14 May. 

On the 14 May, the Royal Aeronautical Society was privileged to hear a lecture at its London HQ from the Chief Scientist of US space agenacy NASA, Dr Ellen Stofan.

In the lecture, she set out the agency's vision for manned space exploration via the asteroids, the possiblities of international co-operation, and the benefits of getting human 'boots on the ground' on Mars to conduct real science.
